Multiple passengers and crew have been injured following a Delta Airlines aircraft from LA to Sydney, Australia encountered significant turbulence this past Friday.

Flight DL41 "encountered brief turbulence" as it landed at the Sydney airport, a representative for the carrier stated. A number of the onboard staff required medical attention.

Local paramedics reported they treated five patients, and transported a trio to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries that included spinal discomfort and headaches. The injured spanned from their thirties and seventies.
